 Several Bell Mobility customers participated in a preview of Bell Mobility's next generation (1X) wireless network service. Here's what they had to say about their experience: "For me it's exciting that I've got the capability to
connect wirelessly and have similar through put and exposure
that I've had in a wired environment." "The ability
to do e-mail is a big piece of my day, but I think the most
exciting thing is how customers will be able to use their
mission critical applications in the field instead of waiting
to get back to the office, or in a wired environment the application
can be used anytime and that has huge benefits." "My staff and I were able to use the 1X data cable to
allow us to do our jobs using a wirelessly connected laptop
running on battery while we were sitting on the floor waiting
for furniture to arrive." "In between clients appointments when I may have twenty
minutes to an hour sometimes between visiting my first client
and my second client, I can now log on to the 1X network and
use that time to document my claims files, check my e-mail,
return my e-mail and focus on things that I would normally
do in the evenings or even the next day." "One of the features that I really like about Data To
GoTM is that I am able to connect very easily. I just have
to take my cellular phone, one cable into my laptop and I'm
up and running. Now that is easy!" "One of the other
features I really like about data to go is its speed. I'm
able to get the information and download it at almost 86 Kbps
per second which is a lot faster than the old 56 Kbps dial
up lines and certainly a lot faster than other wireless devices
today that are at 14 kilo-bits." "The hassle of finding a phone jack was eliminated!
I was very pleased with the speed and stability of the 1X
service." "I like the screen savers because you can put your favorite
sports teams, or your favorite band screen savers on the back
of your phone and that's just another way to personalize it." "Fastest wireless access I have ever experienced."
