WHAT:

Two years ago this month, CDMA2000 became the world's first commercially
deployed IMT-2000 3G wireless technology. Today, there are 22 CDMA2000
networks throughout Asia, the Americas and Europe and nineteen more are
scheduled to deploy in the coming months. These commercial rollouts are
providing global operators significant advantages such as 3G data applications
at speeds of up to 2.4Mbps.
Today, the CDMA Development Group (CDG) released real-world facts, as
reported by operators, on CDMA2000 3G experiences including data speeds,
applications and average revenue per user (ARPU).
