International Trade Association Culminates Year Of Successes
With A New Look
Reflective of the CDGs cutting-edge technology advancements and global presence, the logo features a futuristic design with a silhouette of the Earth. The new logos color scheme is dark blue and gray, complementing the CDGs trademarked brand for 2G CDMA, cdmaOne. The logo can be viewed on the CDGs Web site located at www.cdg.org. Over the past several years, the CDG has established itself as one of the major innovative forces in the wireless industry. said Perry LaForge, executive director of the CDG. The CDGs new look represents the Groups commitment to continually deliver cutting-edge wireless communication solutions to the global marketplace. There are currently more than 103 million CDMA subscribers,
including 2.5 million 3G CDMA2000 users. The CDMA Development Group is a nonprofit trade association formed to foster the worldwide development, implementation and use of cdmaOne and CDMA2000. The 110 member companies of the CDG include many of the worlds largest wireless operators and equipment manufacturers. The primary activities of the CDG include development of cdmaOne features and services, public relations, education and seminars, regulatory affairs and international support. Currently, there are more than 500 individuals working within various CDG subcommittees on cdmaOne-related matters.
