CDG Makes Detailed 3G Fact Sheet and Samsung Digevent

The CDMA Development Group (CDG) is providing two important
3G informational tools on their Web site. The first is
the 3G Fact Sheet, a comprehensive overview of 3G that
details how 3G is available today with CDMA2000. The second
tool is the archive of the Samsung Digevent webcast, which
features both video and a slide presentation of the event
that took place on April 17, 2001. |

The 3G Fact Sheet provides practical and detailed information
on the 3G standards, including the evolution of 3G, an
explanation of CDMA2000, commercial and planned launches,
CDMA2000 and spectrum, and details on terminals, PC cards
and other devices. This document is a valuable tool and
is available for download in English, Spanish and Portuguese
on the CDG Web site.
Perry LaForge was joined by Samsung's Hung Song, vice
president, Wireless Systems International Business Management
Group, South Korea, and John Csapo, vice president,
STA-Wireless System Laboratory on April 17 for a CDG
Digevent that explored 3G in Korea. During this webcast,
Samsung shared the company's experiences in deploying
the world's first 3G networks.
