CDMA Develeopment Group and Samsung Discuss 3G in Korea

Industry Leaders Share Experience in Deploying the World’s First 3G Networks


What: Perry LaForge, executive director of the CDMA Development Group (CDG), will host a webcast discussing 3G in Korea. The webcast will take a closer look at CDMA in Korea, an overview of the CDMA2000 networks and deployments, 3G handsets, and new services and features being offered on the 3G system.

Who: LaForge will be joined by Samsung’s Hung Song, vice president, Wireless Systems International Business Management Group, South Korea, and John Csapo, vice president, STA-Wireless System Laboratory, to further examine the CDMA2000 1x systems currently deployed in Korea. Samsung, one of the infrastructure equipment providers, will share their experiences in deploying the world’s first 3G networks.
