One-of-a-Kind CDMA Site Introduces New Look and Enhanced Content Most Comprehensive CDMA Resource

COSTA MESA, Calif., Apr. 6, 1999 -- Serving as the wireless industry's leading resource for CDMA-related information, the CDMA Development Group (CDG) today unveiled its newly designed web site located at Averaging close to 1.5 million hits a month, this award-winning web site now incorporates leading wireless industry executives' audio and video presentations, a CDMA Product Pavilion, a 3G Pavilion and lively features that enhance the quality and aesthetics of the innovative site.

"The updated CDG web site is the most comprehensive medium to obtain CDMA information available to the public," said Perry LaForge, executive director of the CDG. "The site eliminates the need to scan through multiple menus to access information and includes CDMA-related links, viewpoints, industry contributions, and a vast array of global news. Especially exciting are the new audio and video presentations by key industry experts, as well as the Product and 3G Pavilions showcasing the latest CDMA products and services and up-to-date news on 3G developments. One of the hallmarks of the CDG website has always been its dynamic nature with daily updates of breaking news, pertinent documents and contributions on the hottest issues in the industry. The features of the CDG's site include:

  • Special Features: A series of special features provide visitors with video clips from recent CDG events, access to papers delivered at conferences and seminars and guest columns submitted exclusively to the CDG by prominent industry analysts and executives.
  • Product Pavilion: Visitors can locate information on CDMA operators, subscriber equipment, network equipment, network optimization and enhancement, revenue management, and network interface and access.
  • 3G Pavilion: This section is a central source of information on 3G developments including the evolution of cdmaOne™, spectrum policy, 3G-related news, and CDG and member companies' viewpoints and positions.
