3G Updates Now Available on the CDG Website

CDMA Development Group Continues 3G Leadership Role

COSTA MESA, Calif., May 26, 1998 — As a service to the global wireless telecommunications industry, the CDMA Development Group (CDG) is now publishing the latest third generation (3G) wireless technology information on its award-winning website (www.cdg.org). The new section is dedicated to the development of 3G cdmaOneTM and all related activities.

"The flow of timely and accurate information is essential to the 3G standardization process," said Perry LaForge, executive director of the CDG. "As a part of our continuous efforts to promote harmonization through the TIA, ETSI, ARIB and TTA, we are now making CDG’s 3G information accessible 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week."

The new section will provide the latest information on the development of 3G cdmaOne standards and technology, including press releases, white papers and presentations. Opportunities developing from applications, technologies and market trends as well as information on operator requirements for new services such as multimedia capabilities will also be detailed.
