CDMA Development Group's Website Touted as Premier Resource for CDMA Technology and Issues
New Features and Enhancements Recently Added to CDG's State-of-the-Art Website
COSTA MESA, Calif., May 13, 1997 -- The CDMA Development Group (CDG), a nonprofit trade association formed to foster the worldwide development, implementation and use of CDMA, today announced enhancements to its premier resource for CDMA -- the CDG website. Located at http://www.cdg.org, the CDG website incorporates new features and innovations that have enhanced the quality, content and aesthetics of the state-of-the-art website.
"The enhanced CDG website is an effective means for web browsers to access a wealth of information on CDMA," said Perry LaForge, executive director of the CDG. "The site includes data, news, and viewpoints on every aspect of CDMA, as well as an array of CDMA-related links. Especially exciting is our new section, columnOne, which features CDMA industry leaders providing their viewpoints on various CDMA-related topics. We are confident that the CDG website is the best source of CDMA material on the Internet."
The website, which premiered its new format today, includes many new features such as columnOne. In columnOne's inaugural article, LaForge addresses the predictions of CDMA skeptics and how the accomplishments of the CDMA industry have contradicted their projections.
Another new section included in the CDG's web site is the Message Room. This section provides a comprehensive source for both discussion topics on CDMA issues, and for "CDMA Classifieds," an area featuring job postings and other such notices.
Additional general improvements to the website include easier navigation, a new home page layout with menu icons located at the top and the What's New section. The site is now equipped with a more effective means of real-time communication, with browsers able to contact the CDG from any page on the site, via e-mail. A search engine will also be incorporated into the site.
