Guillermo Fornaresio is currently the Director of the Latin America Group with the CDMA Development Group (CDG). CDG is a trade association comprised of over 100 of the world's leading wireless operators and manufacturers. At CDG, Guillermo is responsible for overseeing the expansion of CDMA technology.
Guillermo has over 10 years of experience working in the telecommunication market in Latin America. He was the General Manager and before this the International Trade Manager of the CADIE (Argentina's Telecom Industry Association). In this role, Guillermo participated and conducted multiple teams creating strategies for Latin American industry. He has also worked with government officials throughout the region to develop telecommunications policies.
Guillermo Fornaresio has taught in technical institutions throughout Argentina. He has also worked as a research assistant at the University of San Diego, California. In addition Guillermo has frequently been a guest columnist for a number of publications.
Guillermo received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Universidad Tecnologica Nacional at Buenos Aires. He also was awarded a Masters in International and Pacific Affairs (MPIA) with a focus in International Technology Management from UCSD. Additionally, Guillermo received Special Mention in Analysis on Politics and Economics in Latin America form the University of Michigan.
