Team Charter
The CDMA Development Group is involved in activities to enhance time to market
and widespread availability of CDMA terminals.
To accomplish this goal, the Global Handset Requirements for CDMA (GHRC) Team
develops device and application requirements documents for use by CDMA operators
and their terminal suppliers. These documents form the basis of a common language
for identifying CDMA operators' terminal requirements leading to greater economies
of scale, while still allowing for regional or operator-specific requirements.
The team meets regularly via conference call and in face-to-face meetings to
develop and maintain requirements documents for
- CDMA2000 voice, SMS, and data services
- CDMA2000 Mobile Web browser
- CDMA2000 MMS
- CDMA2000 1xEV-DO
- CDMA2000 Video Services
- other terminal requirements as requested
