The Evolution Team is working to rapidly define requirements and standards for the evolution of the CDMA2000 family of products and systems. They are underway to understand issues for deploying future generations of CDMA2000. The Evolution Team is working to ensure the graceful evolution of CDMA2000 to maximize operator flexibility while providing 3G services as soon as possible. In addition, they want to ensure that carriers and manufacturers regularly discuss the requirements for deploying future generations of CDMA2000.
