The Evolution Team defines requirements and standards for the CDMA2000 family of systems and products. The goal of the team is to ensure the graceful evolution of CDMA2000 technologies to maximize operators’ flexibility and sustain their time-to-market advantage in providing advanced wireless services. Operators set the priorities and requirements and communicate them to the vendor community on a regular basis. Several Special Interest Groups have been formed under the umbrella of this team to focus on regional market requirements.
